Every year the costs of running a fire department get more expensive. It becomes more difficult for each department to achieve the high expectations of its patrons. Or, sometimes an incident is simply to large for a single department to handle. This is when Mutual Aid Agreements become important. WCFD12 has mutual aid agreements with WCFD14 (Colton / Uniontown) to the south, WCFD4 (Palouse) to the north, WCFD11 (Albion) to the northwest, Moscow, and the city of Pullman located in the middle of the district.

	Agreements
	WCFD14:	Basic Agreement in place. WCFD14 is autodispatched to wildland fires when incident location is on the south side of the district.
	WCFD4:	Basic Agreement in place. WCFD4 is autodispatched to wildland fires when the incident location is on the north side of the district.
	WCFD11:	Basic Agreement in place.
	City of Pullman:	Basic Agreement in place. Provides transport services for EMS related incidents.
	City of Moscow:	Basic Agreement in place.
