Burning is allowed in our district. Please follow the rules below.

Outdoor Burning
It is illegal to burn the following materials in an outdoor fire:

Garbage
Paint
Cardboard
Tires
Pesticide Containers
Construction Debris
Dead Animals
Demolition Debris
Petroleum Products
Paper
Treated Wood
Metals
Plastic
Asphalt

It is only legal to burn natural, unprocessed vegetation. For more information, please visit the Washington State Department of Ecology.

If you are planning on conducting a controlled burn (or anything that might cause someone to call 911), please call the station and provide your name, location of the burn, and contact phone number.
